Aggregate Production
Graded to your project specificationPRODUCTS PROCESSED
Eco-Match processes material predominantly derived from borrow pit, mining, waste rock dump and/or excavation operations. We currently have the capability to produce various grades of aggregate product material, mostly used in road construction, as well as the capability to process numerous different resource types as per client tonnage requirements. Some of the aggregate products include:
- ‘G’ Aggregates
- Concrete Stone
- Road Stone
- Ballast Rock
- Rip Rap
- Gabion Stone
Please feel free to contact our head office and speak to us directly concerning any specific crushing specification requirements you may have.
COLTO / COTO READY
Our crushing and screening train can be configured to achieve the required top size, such as <53 mm or <75 mm, and the applicable COLTO/COTO grading envelope for the specified G-grade. Properties such as LL, LS, LSM, CBR, ACV, PI and Flakiness Index are influenced by the natural characteristics and quality of the source material and must be confirmed through appropriate laboratory testing prior to selecting the correct crushing and screening solution.
AGGREGATE, EXPLAINED
What do ‘G’ Aggregates refer to?
‘G’ aggregates are graded aggregate materials commonly used in road construction and pavement layers. The ‘G’ classification refers to a range of graded materials, with different grades specified according to their particle-size distribution and material properties; common examples include G5, G6 and G7. These materials are generally specified in accordance with COLTO (Committee of Land Transport Officials) and COTO (Committee of Transport Officials) requirements.
How do I know what aggregate material is best suited for my project?
On most projects, a BoQ (Bill of Quantities) would have been drafted by a consulting engineer team prior to the appointment of a contractor or EPC. If, however, no such BoQ exists, then Eco-Match has both the experience and expertise to advise on what products would be best suited to a client’s specific aggregate performance requirements on site.
